Letter From The President
To our NABA Charlotte family and friends:
Welcome and thank you for stopping by our website! I am truly honored to serve as your NABA Charlotte Chapter President. I am passionate about NABA and its mission to “address the professional needs of its members and to build leaders that shape the future…”
This fiscal year, in the midst of COVID-19 and other strife our country endures, we will focus on providing great opportunities for our members and students. This new climate is forcing us to evaluate how we can successfully conduct and live the NABA motto through our engagements and events. In conjunction with our loyal partners, we are focusing on creative ways to adapt, while continuing to deliver relevant and beneficial content.
The composition of the NABA Charlotte Board of Directors was very intentional. I took strategic and precise measures to bring together a talented team of individuals. Each member possesses great leadership, drive, and eagerness to think outside the box. All of those skills are needed now more than ever and I know the board will do remarkable work in the upcoming year.
Thank you for the opportunity to lead such an amazing and determined chapter in this dynamic organization. I look forward to continuing the NABA legacy and motto: Lifting As We Climb.
Respectfully,
Yolanda Hemphill
National Association of Black Accountants
